UO MUSEUM OF ART ELECTS THREE NEW BOARD MEMBERS
EUGENE—The University of Oregon Museum of Art elected three
new members to its board of directors, as well as named the board’s
executive committee.
New additions to the twenty-five-member board are Leon Johnson, an artist
and faculty member at the UO Department of Art; Cheryl Ford, community volunteer
and art enthusiast from Roseburg; and James Walker, physician and map collector
from Eugene.
The new 2003-04 board of directors executive committee includes: Susie Papé,
president; Connie Huling, first vice president; Silva Sullivan, second vice
president; Mary Ann Barton of Portland, secretary; and Lee Michels, treasurer.
The UO Museum of Art is scheduled to reopen October 2004 after completion
of a major renovation and expansion project that will nearly double the size
of the building.
