PRINTS, DRAWINGS & PHOTOGRAPHS
GORDON GILKEY RESEARCH CENTER
The new Gordon Gilkey Research Center at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art will display artworks, store our collections in custom print cases, and be made accessible to the public for intimate study.
Objects from the art museum’s collection that will be available for
research in the center include over 400 photographs, the result of gift and
purchase in recent years and through the fundraising efforts of the 30-year-old
Photography at Oregon Committee.
Additionally, the print collection includes works by Baskin, Calder, Grooms,
Lichtenstein, Morris, Motherwell, Nevelson, Noland, Oldenburg, Rauschenberg,
Rivers, Tobey, Warhol, and others.
