Faculty Mentor Role
The faculty mentor position is designed to assist scholars with their transition into teaching and meets with them regularly to consult on curriculum and project planning. The mentor will provide resources, ideas, guidance, and a basic orientation to curriculum/project development as it relates to the scholars' artistic focus areas.
The faculty mentor will meet with K-12 school teachers during the initial stages of each project in order to establish a communication channel about project planning. The faculty mentor is acquainted with both the museum's collection and the ArtsBridge program as they relate to the scholar's planning and reporting agenda.
