UO MUSEUM OF ART HIRES NEW MUSEUM EDUCATOR TO WORK WITH LOCAL SCHOOLS

EUGENE-Ben Brinkley has joined the staff at the University of Oregon Museum of Art as museum educator for K-12 teacher and school programs.

He is also assisting with the museum's new exhibition interpreter program and developing new museum tours.

Brinkley, who joined the museum staff on March 29, comes to Eugene from the Rubin Museum of Art in New York, N.Y., where he served as associate education director. Brinkley earned his master's degree in international studies and comparative religion from the University of Washington.
